Léonard Guillaumont, CEO @ Plugmystore is a French e-commerce enthusiast. After completing a degree in Project management at Université Henri Poincaré, France, he joined a Luxembourgish start-up in the kid entertainment sector. He gained experience in IT and Project Management, working on financial projects. He joined Amazon Services Europe in 2008, helping over 250 western european key sellers to develop their sales across the international marketplaces of the Amazon group.
He soon realised that global e-commerce challenges are similar for small, medium and big players and started seeking solutions.
Back in 2010, the platforms for global sales online were called e-commerce integration.
However, the state of art for those e-commerce integrators didn’t allow customers to get a fully customizable experience, leaving them frustrated at best, or encouraging them to develop custom solutions for the most exigent.
Global distribution challenges

However, while sellers do multichannel, more and more are feeling that they are not well-integrated, mostly due to the technically challenging technologies. Léonard Guillaumont, CEO @ Plugmystore: Reducing seller frustration
In order to give sellers a better control on their international expansion, Leonard Guillaumont and Yann Milin created the first distribution platform. Together, they built Plugmystore, offering a flexible back office, able to connect sales channels like marketplaces and price comparison engines, as well as Product Information Management (PIM), and webstore technologies.
